Sunflower Header Attachments
The Intersteel sunflower
attachment is designed for cost efficient,
high capacity sunflower harvesting. Keep
your existing header and simply bolt on the
sunflower harvester components.
The rotating drum option,
which replaces the reel, pushes the stalks
down while the twin spirals of fingers do a
positive job of feeding the heads into your
combine at a consistent rate. The fingers
also help prevent the pans from plugging.
With the Stanley sunflower harvester you
will save time, avoid the frustration of
having to stop and clean the pans and you
will also have less waste. The pans are available in a variety of standard and custom widths to match all row spacings as well as solid seeding. Standard pan widths are 9", 12" and 27". The pans guide the stalks into the cutting bar while greatly reducing shelling loss at the header. For more efficient harvesting there are special fins under the pans which help prevent the stalks from catching between the pans and guard tips.
